How It Works

The competition is divided into two stages: a Qualifying Stage and a Knockout Stage.

    • Entrants are divided into four pods of four players via blind draw.
    • Each player competes in three head-to-head 18-hole net stroke play matches.
    • Scoring: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.
    • The player with the most points in each pod advances to the Knockout Stage.
  2. Knockout Stage:
    • Semifinals: Single elimination matches (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3).
    • Finals and Consolation: Single elimination matches.

Qualifying Round Details

  • Match Scheduling: Matches are played at TGAA events when both competitors are registered.
  • Timeframe: Pod play begins at the Myrtle Beach Classic and ends by round 2 of the Old Dominion Invitational.
  • Competitive Balance: Matches should be played in order for balance; exceptions require Committee approval.
